As I create this very first blog post I have dreams of it motivating others in their country life. I come from a suburb upbringing with a longing for the country ever since I read my first Little House on the Prairie novel. I have been living in the county for years now and I have no desire to ever give it up. Shopping can be difficult, modern resources can be hard to find, and cell phone service is spotty at best. Regardless, I wake up loving this life and what it has to bring.
I am a homeschooling mother of three children under the age 11 and there is a lot going on in the house, but a lot of purposeful peace as well.
I plan to share my adventures in faith, photography, sewing, quilting, cooking, homesteading, nutrition, homemaking, frugal living, and plenty more.
